A jersey needs breathability and accurate artwork placement; pants need opacity, stretch and resistance at high-wear areas; jackets need a separate warmth and outerwear specification. We quote them as one program but approve each construction separately.

Sublimation, embroidery and tackle twill
Full dye sublimation is useful for pinstripes, gradients, large graphics and multi-color personalization on compatible polyester panels. The approved image is transferred into the fibers before the panels are sewn. A sublimated baseball jersey remains smooth because the main image is not a thick surface layer.
When a buyer wants dimensional lettering, we can quote embroidery or tackle twill in addition to sublimation. These processes are not interchangeable: they change garment weight, cost, minimums and schedule. We do not describe a product as “tackle twill” when the approved build is only printed. The quotation and sample must state the exact method used.
Artwork and construction checks

- Release roster data. Names, numbers and sizes are checked before personalized production.
- Inspect and pack. Finished products are checked against the approved project record and packing instructions.
Orders for teams, dealers and brands
Team orders often need player-by-player packing and later fill-in orders. Dealers and brands may also need repeatable product codes, branded labels, retail packaging and agreed measurement tolerances. These requirements are recorded with the approved baseball styles so future orders can follow the same construction.

Frequently asked questions
Can baseball jerseys use both sublimation and tackle twill?
Yes. A sublimated body can be combined with tackle twill, embroidery or other raised decoration when specified. Added decoration affects weight, cost and production time.
Do you make full-button and two-button baseball jerseys?
Both constructions can be developed. The placket, button spacing, collar, sleeve length, piping and hem should be shown in the approved specification.
Are baseball pants made from the same fabric as jerseys?
Usually not. Pants need different durability, stretch, opacity and reinforcement characteristics. Jersey and pants fabrics should be selected and approved separately.
Can you produce pinstripe baseball uniforms?
Yes. Pinstripes can be incorporated into sublimated artwork. Alignment across seams and plackets should be reviewed during artwork and sampling.
Can I approve a sample before production?

Full-button, two-button and pullover jerseys behave differently in artwork and production. A full-button front needs an approved placket width, button spacing and graphic relationship across the opening. A two-button build combines a shorter placket with a pullover body. Collar shape, sleeve length, piping, side panels and hem finish should all appear on the technical drawing and physical sample.
Pinstripes and large wordmarks need special alignment checks. A digital mock-up can show the intended design, but the sample reveals how artwork meets at the placket, shoulder and side seams. If perfect continuity is impossible because of construction, the buyer should approve the practical placement before bulk production.
Baseball pants require a separate specification
Pants face different wear and movement from the jersey. Confirm long, knicker or other length; rise; leg opening; waistband; belt loops; pockets; piping and any reinforced areas. Material is compared for stretch, recovery, opacity and abrasion exposure. White and light-colored pants should be checked under movement, not only when laid flat.
The jersey and pants can share colors and branding without using the same fabric. A complete set quotation should list both products, their materials and the included trims separately.
Sublimation, embroidery and tackle twill in one program
Sublimation supports pinstripes, gradients, sponsor graphics and personalized names or numbers on compatible polyester panels. Embroidery can add a raised crest, while tackle twill can create traditional layered lettering and numbers. These methods can be combined, but each position must be identified on the artwork and quotation.
Dense embroidery on lightweight fabric can pucker, and layered tackle twill adds weight. Approve an actual decoration sample on the selected material. Small sleeve marks, memorial patches and league logos also need confirmed dimensions and placement.
Size grading and roster preparation
Baseball programs may include youth and adult players, coaches and supporter garments. Use one controlled size chart for each construction. When a buyer supplies a reference garment, record how it was measured and whether shrinkage or prior washing may have changed it. The roster spreadsheet should separate jersey size, pants size, player name and number because top and bottom sizes often differ.
Private-label and dealer requirements
Dealers and brands may need style numbers, woven or printed labels, care content, hangtags, barcodes and retail bags. Confirm who supplies compliance wording and barcode data. Repeat orders are easier when the approved pattern, material code, color reference, decoration files and packaging version are retained together.
